BRADFORD Town claimed their sixth win in a row in the Toolstation League Premier Division as they dished out a 4-1 defeat to Longwell Green Sports at Trowbridge Road on Saturday.

Dan Cottle led the charge for Danny Greaves' men by netting a hat-trick, while Kurt James also found the net as fifth-placed Bradford moved to within three points of third-placed county rivals Melksham Town.

Melksham's hopes of a top two finish suffered a blow as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Chipping Sodbury Town at Oakfields.

Darren Perrin's men twice fell behind, with Sam Jordan and Gary Higdon restoring parity as Town slipped three points behind second-placed Street.

Otis Young's late goal settled the Toolstation League First Division Wiltshire derby between Westbury United and Corsham Town at Meadow Lane.

Strikers Josh Bright and Joe Masson twice restored parity for Corsham after Leon Greenland, from a first-half free-kick, and George Bendle had given the home side the lead.

But the decisive moment arrived in injury time as Young rifled home the winner for United.

Malmesbury Victoria soared back into form as they hit county rivals Calne Town for six.

Kev Bridgeman's side, who had suffered a 3-2 midweek home defeat to Roman Glass St George, made no mistake at the Flying Monk ground as they inflicted a third defeat in a week on the Lilywhites.

The Vics were in pole position for the three points in the early stages when Sam Jenner took advantage of a defensive mistake to fire home before Tim Bond and Jamie Packer combined for debutant Jon Bazley to finish.

Calne's efforts were repelled by Vics keeper Ant Brown and the match was effectively over when another error at the back allowed Sam Parker to steal in and net the third.

More poor play at the back allowed Parker to double his tally soon after and he had a hat-trick before the break as he headed home from Josh Hughes' assist.

After the interval, Parker headed home his fourth from Jenner's corner.

The damage could have been worse for Calne, but U18 goalkeeper Cameron Shipway saved a Gareth Jones penalty before Jones also hit a post before the visitors had Matt Jenkins and Neurin Jones sent off.

Chippenham Park came out on top in their mid-table battle against Roman Glass St George with a 2-1 triumph at Hardenhuish Park.

A 93rd-minute winner from Lewis McCarron decided the match, Ryan Tyrell having earlier netted from the penalty spot for the home side.

Devizes Town bounced back from last weekend's 9-2 home mauling at the hands of bottom side Almondsbury UWE by defeating Ashton & Backwell United 1-0 at Nursteed Road, Jake Roberts' long-range strike deciding it.

Warminster Town claimed a 2-2 draw at Wincanton Town.

In Sydenhams League Division One, bottom side Pewsey Vale fell to an injury-time strike as they lost 4-3 at United Services Portsmouth.
