WILTSHIRE must see out the final day with the bat with just four wickets in hand if they are to avoid a big defeat at reigning champions Berkshire.

Starting their second day on 120-7, requiring another 41 to avoid the follow-on, Wiltshire managed to reach 171 before being dispatched, with Neil Clark top scoring with 46.

Berkshire, who currently lead the way in the Unicorns Championship Western Division, went in search of quick runs to boost their lead.

The hosts managed to reach 288 all out, with Joe King taking 6-81, to set Neil Shardlow’s side a target of 429 to win.

At the close of play this evening, the county had reached with 154-6, trailing by 274 runs, with Neil Clark top scoring with 40, while Ashur Morris had reached 29 before his was dismissed by Chris Peploe.
