JOSH Brigham scored twice as Devizes Town drew 3-3 with Andover New Street in a pre-season friendly at Nursteed Road on Saturday.

Brigham was twice on target for the home side, having lost 3-2 to Amesbury in their opening friendly seven days earlier, with Rob Mitchell netting the other goal.

Royal Wootton Bassett Town were also winners, defeating county rivals Corsham Town 2-1 at the Southbank on Saturday, Max Slinn and Mason Thompson scoring for the visitors.

Malmesbury Victoria lost out 4-1 to Southern League Cirencester Town in a friendly at the Flying Monk Ground, Joe Tranter on target for the home side.

Chippenham Park entertained Bristol City in a match which raised money for former footballer Jamie Mines, who lost both arms and a leg in an electric shock in a work incident last year, the Ashton Gate club winning 3-0.

Warminster Town were 5-0 winners over Verwood, new boy Mark Young scoring a hat-trick and Lewis Graham also among the goals.

This Saturday, Bassett host Southern League Swindon Supermarine, while Calne are at home to Sydenhams League Downton (all 3pm) before welcoming a Melksham Select XI on Tuesday (7.30pm).

Devizes Town are at home to Melksham Town (3pm) on Saturday before travelling to Bassett next Thursday (7.30pm), while Corsham Town host Welsh side Abergavenny Town on Saturday (1pm) before welcoming neighbours Melksham Town on Tuesday (7.30pm).

Malmesbury Victoria take on Patchway Town on Saturday, while Bradford Town travel to Hellenic League side Brimscombe & Thrupp.

Westbury United have three away friendlies in the next week, at Odd Down Reserves on Saturday (3pm), Shaftesbury on Tuesday (7.30pm) and Larkhall Athletic next Thursday (7pm).

Warminster Town go to Wroughton on Saturday (3pm).
