Bradford on Avon and Warminster both claim second wins in Dorset & Wilts One North and Melksham suffer narrow defeat

Centre Josh Felix led the rout with two tries and eight conversions for a personal haul of 26 points, while wing Leo Robertson crossed for a hat-trick.

Fly-half Sam Jones also scored a double, while centre Tom Culshaw, wing Vaughan Conybear, number eight Oli Bilton and full-back Tom Park also weighed in on the scoring.

Head coach Dave George said: "For the first 40 minutes we were outstanding, with our pace and power and everything came right really.

"There was a bit of complacency which allowed them to come back a little but then we picked it up again.''

Warminster are tucked in behind in second spot after their second win courtesy of a 31-22 triumph over Minety at Folly Lane.

The visitors made a poor start as Warminster secured the ball from kick-off and a move involving their entire backline ended with Tom Evans crossing the line and Jason Prangle adding the conversion.

Both sides' defences then excelled, Warminster's ferocious tackling stopping Minety's progress while a home breakaway was foiled by smothering tackles from centre Jack Howse and winger Ben Langridge.

Warminster doubled their lead in the 11th minute with another breakaway try as Ross Williams outpaced a threadbare defence to score under the posts, making the conversion simple for Sprangle.

Warminster’s third try came after a period of Minety pressure as a neat interchange allowed Sikeli Rokovunicagi through for a score.

Minety got on the scoresheet nine minutes into the second half when, after Warminster were penalised for a high tackle, Garin Garland took a tap penalty and fed hooker Tom Claxton, who charged through to score.

The visitors' second try came direct from the kick off and featured scrum-half Garland and his elder brother and full-back Elis, making a comeback after over a year out.

Breaking the home line, the younger Garland fed his brother who outpaced six defenders to score wide on the left.

But Minety's desire to play cost them as a move broke down and Sprangle pounced to touch down and convert.

Del Murray scored Minety’s third try after they won a line-out and scrum-half Garland spotted a gap by the touchline to send the wing in by the corner flag before adding the conversion.

But Warminster struck back and a slick move across the backs saw Williams touch down for a fifth try, Sprangle again adding the extras.

Melksham found themselves edged out of it as Supermarine clinched a 23-22 triumph at South Marston.

The home team pressured the visitors from the off forcing them to cough up two penalties and a converted try for a 13-point advantage.

The visitors rallied with an intercepted pass from winger Ben Brown to get them on the scoresheet, the extras being added by scrum-half Callum Hurn.

The resurgence continued with good interplay culminating in Hurn scoring out wide and before the close of the half Melksham struck again with Hurn passing around the tackler to the charging Alistair Smith and urn adding the extras.

The hosts' second-half pressure was rewarded with a converted pushover try from the forwards pack restoring them to the lead but it changed again when Hurn slotted a penalty.

Marine though forced their way to within striking distance and a penalty in the dying moments secured them the four points.
