WESTBURY United failed to build on a bright start as they fell to defeat at Toolstation League new boys Cribbs Friends Life.
Westbury took an early lead through Paul Beavers but conceded two goals before half time to trail 2-1 at the break.
Cribbs extended their lead in the second half and lethargic United wee unable to hit back.
Westbury host Calne in their opening home match of the season tomorrow.
