Swindon Wildcats announce fourth signing
The Swindon Wildcats have announced the signing ofBritish
forward Aaron Nellfor the 2008/2009season.
Nell is the Wildcats' fourth signing of the close seasonashead coach Peter
Russellfocuses on pushing the club up the league table.
Russell said: "I worked closely with Aaron last year with the national team
and was impressed. Aaron has good size, hard shot and good game sense. I
know Aaron will give us an extra dimension in offence. Its great to have him
on board after he made the decision to accept my offer and return home
afterplaying aboard."
Nell is a product of the Swindon juniordevelopment system, andhas been
playing inCanada and the USA for the past four years.He represented Great
Britain under 18s and under 20s in 2007 in bothPoland and Latvia
respectively, returning from Latvia as GB's top goal scorer in the
tournament, with three goals from five games.
