Chippenham racing driver Jonathan Loader realised every racing
driver's dream when he raced on the Grand Prix circuit at Brands Hatch.
Loader was racing in the Sports 200 Duratec championship on the same bill as
the A1 Grand Prix, one of the biggest race packages after F1.
His car is a Gunn TS9 machine with a 2000cc engine installed and races on
Yokohama slick racing tyres.
After qualifying on Friday Loader was in 20th place with 35 cars entered for
the race.
On Saturday Loader made a good start to the 25-minute race and was soon up
to racing speed on the circuit which measures over two and half miles in
length.
Loader finished in the top half of the field and will now travel to Cadwell
Park in a few weeks' time looking to build on a good weekend.
