TROWBRIDGE'S Steve Surry was level par as the first round of the Sunshine Tour's Eye Of Africa PGA Championship was suspended early due to bad light today.
The Cumberwell Park pro had just bogeyed the short 12th having picked up a birdie on the long eighth when a halt was called at the Eye Of Africa Signature Golf Estate in South Africa.
Dangerous weather had earlier disrupted play twice, with Surry aiming to make his first cut of 2016 after missing the final round of last week's Dimension Data Pro-Am.
