A DISAPPOINTING loss to local neighbours and rivals, West Wilts foiled Chippenham’s bid to win the league, although they gained promotion from Wessex Division Three in second place.
Chippenham fought hard in the first half with sweeper Angie Whiteside distributing the ball well, but West Wilts scored the only goal just before half time.
