AN ALTERED West Wilts side bowed out of the Men’s Trophy a day after their 4-3 Premier Division Three defeat to Marlborough.

Having surrendered a 3-0 lead to lose to their county rivals, Wilts made a confidence start and seized the lead througha solo goal from Matt Kenyon.

But while Wilts looked a force on the attack, it was the opposite in defence and Newent were also able to look dangerous on the break which led to them equalising.
