Derby win rounds off successful season

West Wilts 3rds 5, Chippenham A 3
WEST Wilts celebrated winning the Wilts and North East Somerset Division One
title with a derby victory over mid-table Chippenham.
West Wilts played some relaxed, flowing hockey and were soon on the score
sheet with goals from Adam Way, Nick Sharp and Rich Hartley.
West Wilts went in 3-0 up at half-time and skipper Rich Robson decided to
change the formation and increase the chances of Adam Way catching up Rob
Robson for the Top Gun' award.
This was to prove costly as Chippenham soon managed to break down the now
three man Wilts midfield and put Wilts under pressure. This pressure
resulted in numerous short corners and also three goals.
West Wilts did manage to bag a couple more goals, for Nick Sharp and Adam
Way, to save their skipper.
