UNDER 9 BLUE

After a goal less first half Trowbridge Wanderers took the lead against Warminster Highbury with a great team goal finished by Daniel Lawes.

Shortly after, the in-form Josh Howlett scored direct from a corner, his fourth in two games giving Wanderers a comfortable 2-0 advantage. Lawes made it 3-0 before Jake Andrews pulled one back for Highbury. Wanderers sealed their 4-1 victory with a fine effort from Lewis Stevens, scoring his first goal for the club.

Home side FC Chippenham Youth held out against Division leaders Melksham Town Youth Saints until early in the second half when the visitors took a 2-0 lead. Nathan Davis pulled one back for Chippenham but a third from the Saints sealed their 3-1 victory. Sean Horobin, Warren Rees and Jack Hartley scored for the Saints.

UNDER 9 GREEN

Devizes Town Youth took a 4-0 lead at the break in their home game against Chippenham Town Youth Blue with goals from Jamie Hall (2), Jack Penfold and Liam Kennedy.

Devizes continued to control play in the second half netting a further 14 goals with no reply to finish 18-0 winners. Devizes saw second half goals from Hall (2), Penfold (3), Kennedy (3), Cullen Wylie (4) and Oliver Graham (2). Chippenham never stopped battling throughout the game and showed excellent sportsmanship.

Bradford Town Youth ran out 7-0 winners at home to AFC Corsham with goals from Hayden Burton, Will Younger-Eamer, Kofi Sawyer, Ross Gilbert (2) and Freddie Oliphant.

UNDER 9 ORANGE

Joe Cavalla scored the only goal of the game between home side Westbury Youth and Marshfield Juniors Lions giving Westbury the 1-0 victory.

UNDER 9 PURPLE

In a high spirited match Devizes started with all guns blazing against home side Trowbridge Wanderers scoring two goals inside the ten minutes through Liam Hall and Luke Hamblen.

The second half was more even with Aidan James pulling one back for Wanderers with his fifth of the season.

FC Chippenham went 2-0 up in the first half of their home game against Trowbridge Town Youth C before going on to finish 6-0 winners. Aidan Daniel, Harry Beazer (2), Ben Lesley, Edward Reece and Ben Leonard all scored for Chippenham.

UNDER 9 WHITE

In a mid table clash home side Marlborough Town controlled play for large parts of the first half against Westbury Youth, taking a 3-0 lead at the break.

Play levelled out in the second half but a fourth from Marlborough with no reply sealed them a 4-0 win. Archie Lewis (2), Jerome Marcel and Harry Williams scored for Marlborough.

UNDER 9 YELLOW

Trowbridge Town Youth held home side FC Chippenham to a 0-0 score line in the first half but four second half strikes on target gave Chippenham their third win of the season.

Tom Delaney (2), Jamie Bailey and Luke Harold scored for Chippenham.

Dilton Rovers took a 2-0 half time lead in their away game against Mere FC with two goals from Harry Page. Mere showed great spirit drawing level before scoring a third to take the lead but a late goal from Freddy Ayres ended the game level at 3-3.

UNDER 10 BLUE

Amesbury Juniors Tigers move to the top of the table following their 9-1 home win against White Horse Juniors Dynamos.

Nick Ware (3), Luke Greenway, Robert Dybal, Giorgio Downey (2), Keiran Lewis and Tyren Harrington scored for Amesbury with Robin Batson replying for White Horse.

AFC Corsham dropped to second in the table following their home game against Trowbridge Town Youth which saw the visitors run out 3-1 winners. Tom Green, Conner McKay and Liam Naylor scored for Trowbridge.

Trowbridge Wanderers took a narrow 1-0 lead at the break against home side Larkhall Athletic. The second half saw the teams cancel each other out resulting in a 3-3 final score. Samuel Clements, Josh Reed and Miles Lofthouse scored for Larkhall.

Warminster Highbury took the lead in their away game against Melksham Town Youth Saints before going on to lead 3-1 at the break. The Saints took control of the game in the second half drawing level before clinching the victory with a fourth. Harry Williams (2), Will Thomson and Ben Winn scored for the Saints with Ryan Fry and Henry McFerron (2) replying for Highbury.

UNDER 10 GREEN

In an evenly fought match Bromham only just secured victory against visitors Chippenham Town Youth White.

Joe Tinnion opened the scoring for Bromham mid way through the first half when he rounded the goalkeeper and rolled the ball into the net. Chippenham responded well and only good goalkeeping from Kai Nutland kept Bromham ahead at half time. The second half started with Bromham pressing and were rewarded when Ryan Bole scored their second.

Chippenham then laid siege to the Bromham goal and after a host of near misses scored the goal of the game when a long range shot flew into the net.

Somehow Bromham hung on for the last few minutes to win.

Warminster Highbury's desire to win appeared much greater than visitors Melksham Town Youth Robins. Highbury were not put under enough pressure when they had possession and raced into a 6-0 lead at half time. The second half produced a completely different scenario with the Robins far more positive in attack and defence allowing Highbury just a two goal advance on their score and scoring twice themselves for an 8-2 finals score. Grady Dufosee, Alex Geddis, Charlie Walton, Joe McKee and Keiran Dimambro (4) scored for Highbury.

Westbury Youth showed great spirit and determination in their away game against Chippenham Town Youth. Chippenham had the upper hand in the first half taking a 3-1 lead at the break. Despite further advance from the home side Westbury never gave up bringing the game level before going on to finish 5-4 winners. Jack Booth (2), Brad Gill (2) and Harry Gardiner scored for Westbury.

UNDER 10 RED

A first half hat-trick from Kieran Glennon gave home side Derry Hill a 3-0 advantage at the break against Trowbridge Town Youth.

Derry soaked up considerable pressure from the visitors in the second half with Trowbridge eventually getting back into the game. A fourth from Billy Gleed secured Derry a 4-1 victory. William Blakeney gave an outstanding performance for Derry Hill.

In another great game White Horse Juniors missed two penalties and lots of chances to take the lead only for Trowbridge Wanderers to lead 1-0 at the break. Wanderers extended their lead to 3-0 before Ryan Witchell pulled one back. Trowbridge finished off their scoring with a well taken free kick to finish 4-1 winners. Robert Metcalf, Ben Cooper and Sam Padfield (2) scored for Trowbridge.

Devizes Town Youth ran out 4-0 winners at home to AFC Corsham Leopards with goals from Harry Easton (2), Harry Lewis and Jake Hillier.

Biddestone FC remain at the top of the table following their 3-0 away win against Melksham Park Youth. Dean Williams, Cameron Younger and George Campbell scored for Biddestone.

UNDER 10 YELLOW

Bradford Town Youth increase the pressure on top of the table Castle Combe Colts after their away win against Larkhall Athletic.

The match started with both teams playing strongly with few initial chances. After ten minutes Ollie Clayton-Smith picked up a loose ball outside the area and fired in to give Bradford the lead. Larkhall came back with some good attacking football equalising through Caleb Collins just before the break. The second half saw both teams creating chances but unable to score. With two minutes to go Clayton-Smith made a strong run down the left crossing the ball in for Gus Wright to score and ending at 2-1 to Bradford.

Reece Newman gave an outstanding performance for home side Mere FC scoring five of their six goals against Biddestone FC. William Buckton also scored for Mere in this 6-0 home victory.

Melksham Town Youth Magpies ran out 6-1 winners at home to Bishops Cannings with goals from Luke Thomson (3), Jack Clayton (2) and an own goal.

UNDER 11 BLUE

FC Chippenham ran out 6-1 winners away to Larkhall Athletic with Jordan Jenkins scoring for Larkhall.

UNDER 11 GREEN

Trowbridge Town Youth's visitors Chippenham Youth were much improved from their earlier league encounter.

Trowbridge took a first half lead through Jamie Mortimer and went close to increasing their lead on a number of occasions. The Chippenham defence held firm and kept the visitors in the game. A crucial point in the game was an unfortunate injury to a key Chippenham midfield player just before half time. The second half saw Trowbridge dominate with goals from Lee Phillips, Ben Prosser, Leon Greenland and two from Alex Shaw. Top local referee Barry Towler had a great game in the middle.

Team Bath Arsenal earned their third win of the season after running out 3-1 winners away to Warminster Highbury. Simon Papworth scored for Highbury.

UNDER 11 ORANGE

Division leaders Chippenham Town Youth White and home side Melksham Park enjoyed a great contest and plenty of goals.

Chippenham took the lead but a goal from Jonathan Mead redressed the balance. Chippenham took the score to 3-1 but a clinical strike from William Abrams reduced the deficit before the break. The second half started where the first left off with Chippenham increasing their lead but a second for Abrams once again reduced the deficit. Chippenham took control of the game for a while taking their tally to seven but Park never gave up scoring through Lewis Pearce and a George Briggs penalty ending the game at 7-5 to Chippenham. Adam Gerrard (2), Ben Pring (2), Jack Hanks and Ryan Peck (2) scored for Chippenham.

Westbury started strong against Devizes Town Youth creating several early chances. Their pressure was rewarded when Drew Adams scored ten minutes.

Devizes quickly pulled one back to level the scores but after a good phase of passing Dan Precup regained the lead for Westbury. Westbury went 3-1 up after a good corner from Jo Edwards was deflected in. Devizes then had a good spell with two fine goals to level and end the game at 3-3. Man of the match for Westbury was Nick Taylor.

Castle Combe went ahead inside five minutes against Bradford Town Youth through a speculative back header from a throw in. Bradford equalised through Ben Fielding but Castle Combe went in front again before extending their lead to 3-1 at half time. Two goals from Sam Francis put Bradford back in the game early in the second half before Francis completed his hat trick to put Bradford into the lead 4-3 with ten minutes to go. During the very exciting dying minutes of the game a final effort by Castle Combe resulted in the equaliser with less than two minutes to go, finishing the game 4-4.

UNDER 11 RED

Westbury's continual improvement made FC Chippenham work hard for their win.

Westbury created a lot more scoring opportunities than in previous games although failed to make the most of these chances. Adam Osborne scored both of Westbury's first half goals, the first a fine strike into after being set up by Paul Eddington the second just before half time to bring the score back to 4 - 2. Chippenham scored five goals without reply the second half despite some excellent defending by George Bray and Simon Davis in the Westbury defence. Chippenham saw goals from Rory Davis (5), Lewis Hurley (2), Tommy rumble and Dan Brown.

UNDER 11 YELLOW

In an eleven goal thriller visitors Bromham took all three points against home side Melksham Town Youth Reds with a 7-4 final score.

Richard Phillips (4), Tom Hall, Matthew Lawrence and Ben Cottrell scored for Bromham with Benjamin Howell (3) and Callum Race replying for Melksham.

UNDER 12 BLUE

Trowbridge continue their unbeaten run to win 7 - 2 at home against Castle Combe. Trowbridge scored four first half goals with no reply.

The second half saw Castle Combe pull two back but Trowbridge continued strongly adding three more to their tally to finish 7-2 winners. Trowbridge saw goals from Nathan Cockran (3), Jordan Bryant (2), Luke Murden and an own goal with Hayden Bethell (2) replying for Castle Combe.

Bradford Town Youth White started well by playing some great football giving visitors Melksham Town Youth Blue problems in the first twenty minutes but could not find the back of the net. Melksham then missed a penalty which hit the post. Although Bradford continued to play well they could not stop Melksham from scoring four well taken goals. The second half became more physical than the first with both sides competing strongly for the ball.

Melksham took their chances well and delivered five more goals. Bradford replied with Tom Hughes netting his first goal of the season. Luke Whittard, Billy Cookson (3), Haydon Stevenson (3) and Jordan Turnbull (2) scored for Melksham.

Nathan Nightingale, Jack Smith and Harry Beckley (2) all scored for Amesbury Juniors in their 4-0 home win against Warminster Highbury.

UNDER 12 GREEN

Melksham Park fought hard against division leaders Bemerton Heath Harlequins in a game well refereed by Aaron Whittard.

A hat trick from Sam Harding and goals from Russell Jones, Sammy Miller, Harry Richardson and Tom Spayes before two well taken penalties from Jordan Edmonds sealed Bemerton's 9-0 victory. Elliott Cooke who made a solid performance as left back was named Bemerton's man of the match.

Devizes Town Youth remain one point behind leaders Bemerton with a game in hand following their 5-0 home win against Worton & Cheverell. Jon Webb (2), Rory Worthington (2) and Jack Bramwell scored for Devizes.

UNDER 12 RED

Trowbridge were playing some nice confident football but Marlborough led twice before Trowbridge stepped up the pace to finish up 9-3 winners.

Nick Josevski scored his 2nd hat-trick in a week, with the remainder coming from Jack Noden (2), Lewis Kay (2), Jack Lambert and a Marlborough own goal.

Marshfield Juniors ran out 5-2 winners at home to Warminster Juniors with goals from Fintan Hart, Sam Walker, Keelan Finnegan, James Kembrey and an own goal.

An energetic Melksham Town Youth Reds pushed division leaders AFC Calne all the way. Calne took the lead when Ozkaya slotted in from outside the area.

Despite further efforts Calne failed to build on their lead but Melksham's perseverance paid off with an equalizer just before the break from Bradley Butcher. A further two goals for Calne through Goddard and Read should of knocked Melksham but Melksham never eased up making several chances and scoring through Daniel Kirk before the end leaving the final score at 3-2 to Calne. Melksham most probably deserved to be the first team to take any points from the division leaders.

Daniel Wingfield (2), Grant Gunning and Max Lewis all scored for Trowbridge Wanderers in their 4-1 home win against Bromham. Richard Phillips scored for Bromham.

UNDER 12 YELLOW

Westbury Youth made it six wins out of six in the league following their hard fought and entertaining match at Malmesbury.

Westbury missed the chance to go ahead in the eighth minute when the Malmesbury keeper saved a Westbury penalty after a trip in the box. Malmesbury took full advantage and took the lead in the 20th minute but their lead was to last only two minutes as Westbury hit back with an equalising goal from Kai Bingham leaving the half time score at 1-1. Westbury took the lead in the first minute after the restart with a Malmesbury own goal before Jack Hayward made it 3-1. With renewed confidence it did not take long for Westbury to increase their lead to 4 - 1 with a second from Hayward. Westbury stretched their lead to 5-1 after Bingham ran on to a great through ball from Kyle Quinn to score his second of the match. There were then three goals in six minutes as first Bingham completed his hat-trick for Westbury to make the score 6-1.

Malmesbury fought back bravely to make the score 6-2 on thirty-three minutes before Westbury wrapped up the scoring with the best goal of the game with two minutes remaining and Bingham scoring his fourth with a great near post header after an excellent turn and cross by Joe English. William Wright and Alex Poultou scored for Malmesbury.

Dilton Rovers took a 2-0 lead at the break against home side Mere FC. Mere bounced back in the second half bringing the scores level before taking the lead at 3-2. Dilton never gave up with their efforts rewarded late in the game settling the affair all square at 3-3. Reece Mendham (2) and Leon Love scored for Mere.

In a bottom-of-the-table clash Castle Combe Colts and Chippenham Town Rangers defended well in the first half leading to a 0-0 score line. Combe took the lead shortly after the restart then failed to double their tally with a missed penalty shot. Combe held on to their narrow lead until the final minutes when Sam Clark levelled the scores at 1-1.

Fourth place Pewsey Vale surprised third place Bradford Town Youth Blues with an outstanding team performance resulting in a 13-4 final score.

Pewsey saw goals from Zak Messenger (3), Frasier Parmenter (2), Jack Goddard (2), Jamie Collinson (2), Liam Wilkins (2), Jodie Collinson, and a superbly taken penalty from keeper Sam Wheeler.

UNDER 14 BLUE

Trowbridge Town Youth took an early lead against Warminster Highbury when Stephen Oakley converted a well taken penalty mid- way through the first half.

Town were on top for most of the game securing their 3-1 win with two second half goals from Daniel Price. Ryan Bodman was named as Town's man of the mach for his superb efforts in defence.

Home side Amesbury Juniors and AFC Corsham missed their chance of going top of the table after only managing a 1-1 draw. Ross Ferguson put Amesbury ahead inside the first three minutes but this was cancelled out three minutes before the end of the first half.

Melksham Park enjoyed their first win of the season after running out 4-2 winners at home to AFC Calne. Mike Coulson scored both goals for Calne.

UNDER 14 GREEN

Trowbridge Wanderers controlled play for most of the first half in their local derby against home side Trowbridge Town Youth and were worthy of their 2-0 lead.

Town played up a gear after the break and got back in the game with a well taken goal from Nick Rodgerstone. Town continued to pressure the Wanderers goal but Wanderers rounded off their tally with a breakaway goal to finish 3-1 winners. Man of the match for Town was Jamie Hughes who battled hard the whole game.

Castle Combe last played Westbury in the first game the season and suffered a 9-0 loss. To say that they put that defeat behind them is an understatement. Castle Combe attacked Westbury from the start and went 1:0 up early on from a strong run by Jordan Westbury who laid the ball wide to Matthew Cox to fire in a cross that Nick Brazier got on the end of with a powerful right foot into the back of the net. Castle Combe held on to their 1-0 lead after some very strong defensive work from Dan, Oscar, Adam and Craig with Castle Combes midfield of Matt H, Rich, Matt C and Lui also helping.

The second half saw Westbury score twice from corners which Castle Combe defended poorly.

Westbury went 3-1 up before a final push from Combe ended the game at 3-2 with a fine shot from Will Stone. Westbury saw goals from Gavin Francis, Daryl Thompson and Anthony Holten with right winger Lee Coulson named as their man of the match.

In another local derby visitors FC Chippenham ran out 3-0 winners against Chippenham Town Rangers with goals from Dan Eskins, Tom Merriman and an own goal.

UNDER 14 RED

In an exciting, well-contested match, in which the lead switched several times, Larkhall eventually ran out 6-4 winners against visitors Mere FC to hold on to their unbeaten record.

Chris Day (2), Matt Klinpikuln (2), Connor Lynch and Joe Pilgrim all scored for Larkhall. A great display by the Mere FC goalkeeper denied Larkhall on many occasions. Likewise, Mere could have taken the game had it not been for the efforts of Jake Horwood, Joe Stroud, Dan Keevill, Russell Forster, Cai Reiach, Alex Copestake and Matthew Rabenda-Davies.

This was billed as the clash of the season for Bradford Blue and Bradford White. The teams were evenly matched so it was a close and exciting contest from the kick off.

The game started at a fast pace with Mark Daniels scoring first from an angled shot for the White's. Gabriel Nathan added another goal for the Whites halfway through the second half. Two goals down, Bradford Blue now had to throw caution to the wind and go for all out attack and after the White's failed to clear the line Lewis Jones scored for the Blue's at close range. The White's then gave a free kick away on the edge of the penalty area and Matt Hayward equalised. After several counter attacks, the White's regained the lead from a diagonal shot from Callum Kellett. With five minutes remaining the game was drawn by Jordan Smith for the Blue's.

Derry Hill United go level on points with second place Melksham Park 2nds following their game ending 2-1 to Derry. Jack Mumford scored for Park.

UNDER 15 BLUE

Division leaders FC Chippenham remain unbeaten and five points clear of the chasing pack after running out 9-1 winners at home to Bemerton Heath Harlequins.

Chippenham saw goals from Nash (2), Flynn and a double hat-trick from Harrison.

A hat-trick for Nick Revell secured all three points for South Newton and Wishford after they ran out 3-2 winners against C.T.C.

UNDER 15 GREEN

Sam Paget put home side AFC Calne 1-0 up on thirteen minutes in their home game against Chippenham Town Youth.

Chippenham brought the scores level before going on to lead 2-1 at the break. -Calne missed the chance of leveling the scores at this point after missing a penalty. Chippenham increased their tally to four with no reply in the second half.

Strugging Wincanton once again found themselves running out under-strength for their away game against Devizes Town Youth. Devizes completely dominated the game from the start and were eventual 26-1 winners. Kieran Chivers (10), Jamie Wallen (2), Jack Hopper (9), Jake Roberts (3), Ieuan Jenkins and Nathan Robinson all scored for Devizes but the goal of the game was scored by Wincanton's Mark Pitman.

In a top of the table clash visitors Trowbridge Wanderers edged ahead at 2-1 at the interval against second place Melksham Park. Wanderers were on top for long periods of the second half resulting in a 6-2 final score. Ryan Spong (4), Daniel Austin and James Reeves scored for Wanderers with Ben Forester and Josh Williams replying for Park.

The mid-table clash between home side Warminster Juniors and Worton & Cheverell saw Warminster clear 5-1 winners with goals from Beau Blakeman (4) and Joe Martin with Jake Walters replying for Worton.

UNDER 15 RED

Home side Bradford Town Youth dominated for long periods against Westbury but the visitors exhibited a fine defensive performance.

Westbury could consider themselves very unlucky not to come away form the game with at least a point as they came close to scoring twice. Mid-way through the first half a break away saw Johnny Tribick attacking a through ball and lifting it over the advancing keeper unfortunately the effort did not have quite enough pace on it and a Bradford defender was able to race back and clear his lines. In the second half, as Westbury got a little stronger, an attack ended with a shot hitting the base of the Bradford post. Bradford scored with five minute left as a speculative long shot looped into the top corner the scorer promptly being booked for racing around the pitch with his shirt off.

Seven games and seven victories are the statistics at the top-of-the-table for Trowbridge Town Youth 2nds following their away win against FC Chippenham 2nds. James Griffiths (5), Bradley King-Taylor (3), Natti Mills, Liam Gilbert and Ryan Baggs all scored for Trowbridge.

Second place AFC Corsham gave an outstanding first half team performance taking a 6-2 lead at the break against Castle Combe Colts White. Despite conceding two more Combe had a much better second half. Lee Marshall (4), Eddie Sibbick, Sam Vasey (2) and Jack Vasey.

UNDER 16 BLUE

Bradford Town Youth continued their fine run and made it three wins on the bounce with a 2-0 victory away at Chippenham Town Youth.

Bradford dominated possession in the first half. Tom Chapman hit the bar and Cameron Lange headed Bradford in front just before half time. Chippenham pressed hard for an equaliser in the second half but the Bradford defence, superbly marshalled by Rob Comba and Tim Johns, held firm. A second goal in the final minutes by Owen Rees wrapped up the points for Bradford who remain second in the league.

Trowbridge Town Youth 2nds held division leaders and fellow club mates Trowbridge Town Youth 1st team to a 0-0 score line at the break. The 2nds held out until the fifty-fifth minute when the 1st team broke the dead lock before going on to finish 4-0 winners. Goals were scored by Nick Giddings, Stuart Greener and an own goal.

UNDER 16 RED

Sam Matthews put Salisbury United 1-0 up at the end of the first half of their away game against Castle Combe Colts White.

Joe Williams made it 2-0 to Salisbury early in the second half. Combe never gave up and were rewarded with a consolation goal in the last two minutes when a great through ball from Tommy O'Cain found Jamie Harlowe to finish.

FC Chippenham move three points clear at the top of the table following their away win against Mere FC. FC took a 3-0 lead at the break before going on to finish 5-0 winners. Gareth Cooper, Paul Cook (2) and Johnny Ingram (2) scored for Chippenham.

First and second half strikes from Eddie Perrett secured a narrow 2-1 victory for visitors South Newton and Wishford against Warminster Highbury.

Amesbury Juniors ran out 5-1 winners away to Bradford Town Youth with goals from Matty Moss (2), Danny Gibson, Joe Hill and Ross Uglow.

UNDER 17's

A first half hat trick for Harry Gale gave home side Amesbury Juniors a 3-2 advantage at the break in their game against Marlborough Town.

A fourth for Gale in the second half with one reply settled the affair at 4-3 to Amesbury.

Westbury Youth continue to head up this division following their 4-1 win away to Castle Combe Colts. Tom Whyte (2), Sam McQueen and Lee Meaden scored for Westbury with Jake O'Keefe replying for Combe.

County Cup Result

White Horse Juniors 1 Worton & Cheverell 5

An excellent all round performance from Worton & Cheverell saw them safelythrough to next round.

A hat-trick for Richard Tandy and first goals of the season for Ben Hodder and Ollie Meredith contributed to the 5-1 win.
