THE goal scoring partnership of Pang and Askew were at it again as North Bradley Saints beat Bradford United 9-0 in their second round match in the Pied Piper Promotions-sponsored A and B Cup.
Tom Pang scored twice in the first half to give the visitors a comfortable half-time lead.
The second period saw him add a further three to take his total to five, before Scott Askew sealed his hat-trick.
Richard Bilha completed the scoring.
FC NORTHBRIDGE gained a 2-1 away win in their midtable clash against The Deverills.
All the goals came in the second half, with Adie Evans opening the scoring for The Deverills only for Steve Jackson to grab a brace for FC Northbridge.
THE first half of the game between AFC Trowbridge Wanderers and Semington Magpies was very even game with both teams creating chances.
In the first 30 seconds Semington player- manager Simon Hillman had to go to hospital after clashing heads and landing awkwardly on his shoulder.
Twenty minutes into the second half Magpies took the lead when a Nigel Hall corner was flicked on at the near post by Ricky King and Stuart Barber tapped in at the back post.
Andrew Harrison played a lovely through ball to Stuart Barber who made it 2-0.
With ten minutes left on the clock Stuart Barber got his third of the game after Mark James did well to set him up.
Bratton were 3-2 winners at Steeple Ashton to close the gap on their rivals.
Bratton made the better start and were 2-0 up at the break, thanks to two goals from Paul Smith.
The second half saw a much-improved Steeple Ashton and they scored two goals, through Marc Sheppard and Sam Stevens (penalty). A third goal from Paul Smith saw him grab his hat-trick and the points for Bratton.
THE Trowbridge Ship gained three valuable points with a 4-2 win in their basement battle against Melksham Park at a rain soaked Leafy Lane.
Melksham made the brighter start and after a defensive slip took an early lead through Jamie Murphy.
The Ship held firm and were soon playing some flowing football. Tom Barnett and Paul Matthews kept battling against a three-man midfield, with the wingers adding pace down the wings.
A goal seemed closer and closer for The Ship as the goalkeeper tipped a good strike from Paul Matthews over the bar. The resulting corner saw the ball whipped into the box for Tom Barnett to rise above two defenders and head his team back into the game.
Early in the second half The Ship took the lead when manager player-manager Chris Penelhum, who was celebrating his birthday, ran onto a superb through ball from Tom Barnett, rounded the goalkeeper and knocked the ball into the empty net.
Nigel Penelhum bundled the ball over the line to make it 3-1 and The Ship were cruising.
Defenders Lee Williamson and Andy Pickernell held firm and Melksham failed to break them down.
It was not long before The Ship added another goal as substitute Robbie Newton burst down the line and the ball was floated to the back post for Chris Penelhum to smash home the volley.
Melksham scored through Tom Lye at the death to make the score line 4-2, but the result deservedly went in The Trowbridge Ship's favour.
