Frome Town Sports A 2, Semington Magpies 2

SEMINGTON Magpies hold on to a three point lead at the top of the table after being held to a 2-2 draw at lowly placed Frome Town Sports A.

A Neil Simms goal got the hosts off to a superb start as they went 1-0 up after just two minutes.

Semington hit back midway through Stuart Barber midway through the half to make it 1-1 at the interval.

The second half saw efforts go begging by both teams before Matthew Russell put Semington in front and seemingly on their way to three points, but with only minutes left Frome equalised with a tap-in by Ben Pearson.

St Andrews Winsley 4, The Lamb Inn 3

St ANDREWS condemned The Lamb Inn to their 17th league defeat of the season with a win by the odd goal in seven.

The Saints started well and found themselves a goal in front with only six minutes played, Ben Hogg on target.

It became 2-0 on the quarter hour mark as Chris Tonkiss scored with a mishit shot from close range.

The Lamb then started a comeback and pulled a goal back through Sean Stone to make it 2-1 at half-time.

The second period saw The Lamb square the match at 2-2 as Dan Filer scored with only five minutes of the half played. Twenty minutes later The Lamb were in front and heading for what could have been their first league win as Dan Filer scored his second.

But St Andrews equalised with five minutes left when Ben Hogg knocked in his second goal and then Chris Browne scored the winner with the last kick of the game.
