Bradford United Reserves retain second place in the table after coming out 2-1 winners at home to Seend United Reserves.

Andrew Carpenter opened the scoring for Bradford midway through the first half with Ali Ayoub adding a second minutes later. On the stroke of half-time Seend pulled a goal back, with Oli Gee scoring. The second half saw both teams missing gilt-edged chances to add to their tallies, but 2-1 it finished.

Bratton 2, Heytesbury 2

BRATTON and Heytesbury thought out a 2-2 draw in an evenly balanced match.

Bratton took the lead early on through Tim Coombes only for Heytesbury to pull a goal back minutes before the interval. The second half then saw Heytesbury take the lead and start to dominate large periods of play without adding a third goal.

With time then running out Bratton scored their second goal with a strike from Dan Clements.

Bromham Reserves 6, Frome Town Sports A 1

LEADERS Bromham Reserves handed out a master class in football to Frome Town Sports A as they won 6-1.

Frome made the better start and took an early lead through Matt Bracher, but this seemed to kick start Bromham into life and within two minutes they were on level terms as Jack Fisher pounced on a defensive error. Ten minutes later Fisher scored again to make it 2-1 and Bromham from that moment never looked in trouble.

Andy Stonestreet scored goals three and four in the space of two minutes and just before the interval Dan Powell made it 5-1.

The second half saw Bromham ease off the gas and score only one goal through Sam Powell.

Broughton Gifford 7, FC Courthouse 1

FC COURTHOUSE got off to wonderful start at Broughton, opening the scoring inside five minutes through Richard Bilha, but from then on it went downhill rapidly.

Simon Gilbert equalised for Broughton after 15 minutes and then the Leigh Rowles-Hitchcock show took over. By half time he had made it 3-1 with two quick goals. The second period saw one-way traffic only in the direction of the Courthouse goal and Rowles-Hitchcock scored a further four goals to make the final score 7-1.

St Andrews Winsley 3, Trowbridge Wanderers 3

ST ANDREWS missed out on going top as they were held to a 3-3 draw by Trowbridge Wanderers. Ben Hogg put the hosts in front only for Sam Dawson to grab an equaliser for Wanderers.

With the match tied at the interval it was Wanderers who broke the deadlock early in the second half through Joe Walker. Winsley then tied the match for a second time as Tom Chapman scored. The last 20 minutes saw plenty of goalmouth action from both sides and with time running out Jed Osborne made it 3-2 to St Andrews. But Trowbridge Wanderers would not role over and die and with the last kick of the match snatched a point through Paul Matthews.
