the A M Print and Copy of Westbury-sponsored Spring Cup after overcoming
Bratton Reserves 6-1.

after only two minutes. Dave Castle then put Seend 2-0 ahead after 15
minutes and he then made it 3-0 on the stroke of half-time.
The second period started as the first had left off, with Castle scoring
again to complete his hat-trick.

service was soon resumed for Seend as Mike Hopkins made it 5-1.
The goal of the match was scored with ten minutes left as Tommy Ball rifled
home a 30 yard shot which left the Bratton keeper grasping thin air.
