The game between Anchor and Hope and Semington Magpies was
ruined by the strong wind and neither team could break the deadlock in the
first half.
Early in the second half Magpies took the lead. After Stuart Barber was
brought down in the box, Andrew Harrison scored the resulting penalty.
Anchor and Hope levelled two minutes later after a poor clearance from the
Magpies defence let in Louis Stillman. Stuart Barber restored Magpies' lead
midway through the second half after good work from Chris Rogers to set him
up. Dan Rimmer put the game beyond doubt by beating the goalkeeper
one-on-one to seal a 3-1 win for Magpies.
Bratton 0, Westbury United A 1
BRATTON missed out on the chance to close the gap on the leaders as they
suffered a 1-0 home defeat against arch rivals Westbury United A.
A tight first half finished in stalemate as both defences held strong. The
only goal of the match came midway through the second half from Ashley
Easton.
Frome Town Sports A 2, Heytesbury 0
FROME Town Sports A recorded their third win of the season as they beat
Heytesbury thanks to two first half goals from Lee Collier.

The Eleven Statues 1,v Mere Town 2
MERE Town moved to within four points of top spot as they beat leaders The
Eleven Statues 2-1.
The visitors had much the better of the first half and scored the only goal
through Chris Parfitt.
The second period saw The Statues play the football that their status
demands and they found themselves on level terms as Richard Strandling
scored.
With the match heading for a draw Chris Guy popped up with seconds left to
grab the winner for Mere Town.

THE Lamb Inn secured their second league point of the season with a 2-2 draw
with FC Chippenham Youth Reserves.
Chippenham raced into a 2-0 half-time lead, before two goals from Damien
Hateley earned the draw for The Lamb.
