AFC Trowbridge Town Youth Reserves kept up the pressure on leaders Seend United as they recorded a 3-0 victory away to Blue Circle.

Lee Hayward scored the only goal of the first half, but Trowbridge dominated the second period and scored a further two goals, through Jamie Jordan and Waleed Bakali.

Bradford United 1, The Deverills 1

BRADFORD United gave The Deverills a point by failing to take advantage of having an extra man for 65 minutes after Lee Carpenter was sent off.

Up to then Bradford had had the better of the exchanges and had taken the lead in the third minute through Matt Hammond when Deverills failed to play to the whistle thinking he was offside.

Bradford continued to create the occasional chance but the match was a scrappy affair with neither goalkeeper really troubled until the Deverills equalised through Mike Payne when Bradford conceded a senseless penalty in the 70th minute.

FC Northbridge 1, Steeple Ashton 2

STEEPLE Ashton remain four points behind second spot after beating bottom placed FC Northbridge.

Northbridge made the brighter start and found themselves in front after Ben Tilling tapped in from close range.

The lead lasted only ten minutes as Simon Old equalised for Ashton.

The second half saw both sides pushing for a second goal which eventually fell to Lee Frisby.

Frome Town Sports 1, Freshford United 3

THIS Somerset derby saw Freshford United take the spoils.

A Dean Stritch goal midway through the half was enough to give Freshford the lead at half-time.

The second half saw Phil Little double Freshford's lead before Jordan Lawrence pulled a goal back for Frome.

Freshford completed the win with five minutes left when Tom Armstrong scored from close range.

Seend United 4, Warminster Town Reserves 0

SEEND United remain top after a comfortable win over Warminster Town Reserves.

John Hubbard scored the only goal of the first half to give Seend the lead at the break.

Richard Gullis then gave Seend the ideal start to the second half by doubling the lead after only three minutes.

Two then became three as Mike Hopkins scored ten minutes later. Seend's final goal came from Steve Burns with the final kick of the game.
