Matt Spear, of FC Chippenham Youth Reserves, clashes with Bratton's Matt Morgan (21539/1)

Bratton returned to winning ways after last week's heavy defeat in the Division Two Cup to move to within four points of top spot.

Hilperton United 0, Semington Magpies 7

SEMINGTON hold onto second place after they won on their travels at Hilperton United.

A Stuart Barber brace got the visitors off to a flying start within the first ten minutes and it became 3-0 on the half-hour mark as George Williams tapped in from close range. Stuart Barber then completed his hat-trick five minutes before the interval.

The second half started as the first had finished with Stuart Barber scoring to make it 5-0. Matthew Russell scored to make it 6-0 on the hour mark and Andy Harrison made it seven with five minutes left to play.

The Eleven Statues 1, Heytesbury 1

THE Eleven Statues remain top by one point after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Heytesbury.

Both teams then went in search of goals but were unable to break each other down.

Westbury United A 1, St Andrews Winsley

A RAIN soaked pitch made it hard going for both teams in this midtable clash.

The teams tried to play entertaining and exciting football, but in the end conditions dictated that route one football was the only option.

The only goal came from Matthew Friendship of Westbury in the 56th minute.

With ten minutes to go Westbury thought they had scored a second only for it to be ruled out for offside.

Frome Town Sports A 3, Anchor and Hope 4

FROME Town Sports A remain in the bottom three after they lost out by the odd goal in a seven goal thriller.

Anchor and Hope scored the only goal of the first half through Louis Stillman and Frome then scored the first goal of the second half to level the match through Tom Digman after 50 minutes.

They then took the lead two minutes later as Shayne Southern scored.

Anchor and Hope then stepped up the pressure and got their just rewards, with Adil Bakali scoring to make it 2-2 on the hour mark.

Frome Town regained the lead again as Tom Digman scored his second goal of the match to make it 3-2, but that was as good as it got for them.
