Blue Circle hit back with last minute winner
Mark Birleson
Mark Birleson

Blue Circle came out on top by the odd goal in five in a second half goal fest in their home game against Frome Town Sports.

Nick Hawkes and Paul Bendall got the Somerset side off to a perfect second half start giving them a two goal advantage with only five minutes of the half gone.

Circle then hit back with two goals from Garic Hopkins, his first on 75 minutes and the second with five minutes left to play. With the match heading for a draw the cement men stole the points with the very last kick of the match, Darryl Maxwell getting the all-important goal.

FC Northbridge 0, Freshford United 4

FC NORTHBRIDGE remain rooted to the bottom of the table after suffering a 4-0 defeat at home to Freshford United.

A brace from Mark Birleson saw Freshford go into the break fully in control of the match.

The second half got no better for Northbridge as they conceded two more goals, from Phil Little and Dean Stritch.

Steeple Ashton 1, The Deverills 3

STEEPLE Ashton remain fourth despite losing 3-1 at home to The Deverills.

Nick Bunyard opened the scoring for The Deverills before George Mortimer tied the match for Ashton.

The second period saw The Deverills play much the better football and they were rewarded with two goals, from Aarron Stevens and Dan Hargreaves.

Warminster Town Reserves 2, Bradford United 0

WARMINSTER have now completed their league fixtures and have moved up to seventh in the table.

The victory came thanks to two first half goals, from Steve Perkins and Richard Davey.
