Bradford United gave as good as they got for the first half hour of their home match against AFC Trowbridge Town Youth, but two goals three minutes either side of half-time effectively ended their resistance.

Trowbridge went on to net four more goals, albeit interspersed with a goal for United by Matt Hammond.

Six players - Ronnie Frost, Ross Pike, Tom MacKinder, Tom Bonser, Jamie Jordan, and Michael Towler - scored for Trowbridge.

Freshford United 5, Steeple Ashton 2

FRESHFORD United opened up a five point gap over opponents and nearest rivals Steeple Ashton with a 5-2 victory.

Neil Hannaford opened the scoring for the Somerset side, only to see Dean Gumm level the match on the half-hour mark, but by half-time Freshford were back in front after a goal from Dean Stritch.

The second half got no better for Ashton as they were 3-1 down within two minutes of the restart, Phil Little scoring the goal. Goal number four for Freshford came with only 20 minutes left, Little getting his second.

Ashton then pulled a goal back through George Mortimer, but it was never going to be enough as Dave Birleson made it 5-2 with only seconds left.

The Deverills 0, Seend United 2

SEEND United maintained their two point lead at the top of the table as they travelled to The Deverills and came away with a 2-0 victory.

An own goal was enough to give them an interval lead and their second half goal came from Chris Styles.
