Mings targets two new signings
Adie Mings
Adie Mings

CHIPPENHAM Town boss Adie Mings is on the lookout for two new signings, a fortnight after completing a double swoop.

Mings recruited Bristol Rovers midfielder Matt Groves on loan and Gary Funnell as a permanent signing two weeks ago, but says he is not finished yet.

Mings said: "I would like to bring in one or two more if I can, but I'm not going to bring in players for the sake of it.

"We will be having a look about and talking to a few clubs over the next week or two."

When asked if he had specific targets in mind, Mings said: "No, not really, I'd like to get another striker in, maybe another defender."

But Mings reiterated he was very happy with how his current squad were performing.

Mings said: "The squad has been excellent, fourth with seven games to go is a fantastic achievement by these players.

"A lot of them haven't played at this level until this year and I hope they can carry it on until the end of the season."
