CHIPPENHAM Town manager Adie Mings has warned his players they cannot take
victory for granted when they face bottom of the table Cheshunt in the
Southern League Premier Division on Saturday.
Mings was unhappy with the players' poor attitude and preparation for the
midweek home defeat by Brackley, a game that had they won would have
guaranteed a place in the play-offs.
Now Mings has warned a win at Cheshunt is far from guaranteed, despite their
opponents being long since relegated.
Mings said: "The pressure is off Cheshunt. They have got lads playing for
their futures. We know it's not going to be an easy place to go.
"It's still in our hands, it just means we can't cement a place as quickly
as we would like to. We've still got to go to Cheshunt and get a result.
"Everybody said it was pressure last Saturday going to Hemel.

"It's a case of us going there, being professional. and getting on with it.
It would be a shame to throw it away now.
"In a one-off game I think these lads will perform and hopefully they will
take on board what we said."
