CHIPPENHAM Town boss Adie Mings is giving nothing away as his team prepare
for their final Southern League game of the season against Team Bath today.
The Bluebirds will play Halesowen Town away in the play-offs regardless of
the result but the game means much more to their local rivals.
Team Bath could win the title with a win or draw, depending on how King's
Lynn fare at Merthyr Tydfil.
Mings is still mulling over whether to rest players for the clash with Team
Bath or go with his strongest line-up.
Mings said: "Winning breeds confidence and players get into the groove of
winning games.
"Although it's nice to be able to leave players out, continuity can be good
as well. We've got a good squad and we've got a lot of players who can come
in and do a job."

The Bluebirds boss shrugged off the idea of fielding his strongest side
merely for the sake of King's Lynn.
Mings said: "If it was on the other foot would they do that to me? I've only
got to be concerned with what happens at Chippenham Town Football Club.
"It's just another fixture we've got to fulfil and we're just going to
approach it like we approach every other game. It's nice to win your last
game if you can."
The Chippenham boss has not allowed himself to think about the play-off
semi-final against Halesowen.
Mings said: "Team Bath is the only game we need to focus on. You need to
take one step at a time."
Mings voiced his pleasure at the performance against Cheshunt that sealed a
play-off place for his team.
He said: "We've been stuttering over the last couple of weeks but it was in
our own hands and we were pleased with the way the lads played at Cheshunt.
"They had their minds on the job and I was delighted. I know when they play
to their potential they are a fantastic bunch of players and they were at it
on Saturday."
