After a goal-less first half, Sam Allison put the Bluebirds ahead after 66 minutes when he scored from close range from a cross by Dave Pratt.
But just three minutes later Halesowen were back on level terms and the Bluebirds down to ten men. Eldon Maquemba was brought down inside the penalty area by Ross Adams and after the Chippenham defender was sent off Dean Brennan scored from the spot.
Halesowen's winning goal came ten minutes from the end when the impressive Maquemba cut in from the flank and hit a 25 yard shot past Chippenham goalkeper Chris Snoddy.
