WILTSHIRE'S Minor Counties Championship final against Staffordshire went back into the balance as the visitors fought back to build up a commanding lead at South Wilts CC.
Staffordshire had reached 242-7 in the second innings by the close of day two of the four-day encounter - a lead of 238.
Wiltshire, who had bowled out the visitors for 227 on day one before reaching 155-3 at stumps, failed to capitalise on their strong position as they were dismissed for 231.
Uzi Qureshi scored 90, but received little support as Matthew Parkinson took three wickets for Staffordshire.
Peter Wishaw, who scored 52 in Staffordshire's first innings, then hit a century in the second, ending unbeaten on 106.
Michael Hill added 45 as Tahir Afridi took 4-40 and Ed Young, who had taken six first-innings wickets, claimed another two victims.
