WILTSHIRE have called on Gloucestershire Academy wicketkeeper Patrick Greishaber for their second Unicorns Championship Western Division match of the season starting at Corsham CC on Sunday (11am), after losing gloveman Michael Bates to first-class side Somerset.

Ex-Hampshire keeper Bates, 24, has joined Somerset on a one-month contract, making his debut in their LV= County Championship clash against Nottinghamshire at Taunton this week.

Somerset director of cricket Matthew Maynard said: “Bates has got a good record behind the stumps and has got a first class century so he is a decent player and a good character and we welcome him to the side.”

Greisharber steps in as Wiltshire seek to build on their winning start to the campaign after defeating Dorset in Bournemouth last week.

Bowler Tahir Afridi returns to the side after injury and Westbury's Andy Carroll makes his Championship debut.
