THE Wiltshire boys U10s fell to an eight-run defeat against Oxfordshire on Sunday.

Restricting Oxfordshire to 133 all out, thanks to Tom Darby who took 4-30, Wiltshire finished on 125-9 from their 40 overs, Jonny Sadler top scoring on 38.

There was also defeat for the boys U11s, by three wickets against Devon.

Wiltshire posted 139-9 from their 40 overs with Ben Howgrave-Graham top scoring with 39. Despite defeat, Wiltshire did well defending the total, taking seven Devon wickets with two apiece for Howgrave-Graham and Amanveer Singh Jagdey.

The boys U13s performed excellently against Dorset, bowling out their opponents for just 96 with Ben Higton returning figures of 4-24.

Wiltshire reached their target with ease, winning by nine wickets as Edward Wade scored 50 not out and Josh Kelly 26 not out.

The boys U14s were in action twice last week. On Wednesday they fell to defeat to Oxfordshire, who posted 292-8 as Charlie Slade took 3-54.

Wiltshire lost regular wickets and were dismissed for 191, but made up for the defeat quickly as they beat Cornwall on Sunday in a nail-biter.

Posting 210, thanks to 66 from Jaden Atkinson, Wade took 4-28 as Cornwall were eventually bowled out for 208 to give Wiltshire a two-run victory.

The under 15s were also in action on Sunday against Dorset, who were bowled out for 215 inside 48 overs as Max Ojomoh and Ben Huntley both took three wickets.

The chase was led by a superb 94 from Jack Stearman, ably supported by Sam Bull with 54 as Wiltshire won by six wickets.

The U13 girls were bowled out for 32 against Worcestershire on Sunday, chasing their opponents' 167 all out in which Niamh Beavan had taken 4-27.

The U15s were in T20 action last Wednesday, against Cornwall and Gloucestershire. Despite defeats by four wickets and 102 runs respectively, there was a notable performance from Millie Lang with 3-5 against Cornwall.

The U17s played three matches last week, firstly a 45-over match against Berkshire who batted first and scored 197-8.

For Wiltshire, Rosie Pembroke took 3-29, but Wiltshire were bowled out for 160 as Melissa Story top scored with 30.

In T20 action on Thursday there were defeats against Gloucestershire and Wales by 107 runs and 41 runs respectively.

Against Gloucestershire, Katherine Mills scored 39 and then matched the same score against Wales.
