WILTSHIRE’S Liam Dawson and James Vince have both been named in England’s one-day international squad for the upcoming autumn tour of Bangladesh.
All-rounder Dawson, 26, made his ODI debut for England against Pakistan earlier this month after representing his country for the first time at T20 level in July and will be one of 15 players taking on Bangladesh in three matches in Dhaka and Chittagong between October 7 and October 12.
Dawson will be joined by Hampshire team-mate and fellow Wiltshire man Vince, 25, who has been recalled after being dropped from England’s last one-day squad following his struggles in the summer’s Test series against Pakistan.
One-day captain Eoin Morgan and Alex Hales have both pulled out October’s Bangladesh tour due to security concerns.
No international side has toured the country since 20 people were killed in an attack on a café in July.
Thanks for the messages. Looking forward to the series in Bangladesh. 👍🏻 pic.twitter.com/ZnMLVKO4R0
