BOX bowlers Steve Hall and Dave Crawford set up their side’s 10-wicket triumph over Malmesbury as the visitors moved second in the Division One table.

Hall claimed 4-17 from 7.2 overs, with Crawford securing 3-15 off eight as Malmesbury were blown away for 85 in just 25.2 overs.

Box eased to victory as Gerald Heyward’s unbeaten 60 took them home in 20.4 overs.

Nationwide House picked up a third win of the summer with an 85-run success against Avebury.

Roger Pettifer’s unbeaten 57 and 52 from Aaron Stevens took House to 214-7 in their 45 overs, Wes Hartslief taking 3-36, and Avebury’s reply fell well short on 129 as Stuart Archer took 3-16.

Corsham 2nd suffered a first defeat as they went down by 35 runs against Swindon 2nd.

Paul Paginton’s 50 anchored Swindon’s 212-7, Simon Crampton taking 3-34, but despite 97 from Andy Davis, Corsham were stopped on 177, Sam Husband taking 4-32 and Connor O’Shea 3-31.

Division Two BIDDESTONE 2nd stayed out in front at the top of the table after an eight-wicket success over Beehive Southwick.

Mike Spong hit an unbeaten 74 in Beehive’s 176-9, but the target proved inadequate as Aiden Andrews (96) and Ed Carver (57 not out) guided the leaders home for the loss of two wickets.

Sam Gaiger blasted 186 not out from just 75 balls as Potterne 2nd posted a massive 408-3 against Bath Hospitals, Jack Hurley adding 66 and Jordan Rose 51.

Harry Latham’s 3-27 helped to stop Hospitals at 268 as Potterne wrapped up a 140-run success.

Sarfraz Khan took 5-17 in eight overs for Swindon NALGO as Warminster 2nd reached 177 all out.

Imran Dastigir then scored 46 as NALGO reached their target in the 38th over for the loss of four wickets.

Division Three SWINDON United Churches won by 126 runs at Seagry, opener Matt Runkel retiring unbeaten on 79 from 119 balls and Chris Gilchrist adding 63 from 47 as they got to 256-7, Mike Hunt taking 3-56 Chris Grace, with 41, helped get Seagry’s reply off to a decent start but off-spinner Jimmy Mann (4-20) and Daniel Hunt (4-18) ended their innings at 130.

Knocks of 49 from Oliver Rose and 40 from David Jordan guided White Horse to a six-wicket win over bottom-of-the-table Collingbourne, for whom Owen Sheppard hit 56 in 175-7.

Rahn Heer took 5-5 from just six overs as Goatacre 2nd beat Heytesbury & Sutton Veny by five wickets.

Justin Wagstaff’s unbeaten 56 had helped Heytesbury to 156 all out but Chris Chapman (54) and Steve Baker (52) secured the win for the visitors.

Division Four BEN Jeggo smashed 107 and Dominic O’Neill 76 not out as Nationwide House (272-5) defeated Wanborough.

Nick Stacey scored 78 and Edgar D’Souza 52 in the reply, which fell short at 240-5.

Ramsbury’s Neil Williamson did the damage in his side’ six-wicket triumph over Marlborough 2nd, taking 5-10 in just 4.5 overs to help dismiss Marlborough for 113.

Division Five MELKSHAM batsmen were in decent nick to take their side to 203 all out against Bathford, whose chances were ended as Charlie Waylen claimed 4-18, with Bathford losing their last seven wickets for 15 runs as they were all out for 125.

Trowbridge 2nd remained top of the table as Ali Goddard hit an unbeaten 86 and Ryan Salter 56 in their seven-wicket win over Blunsdon.

Earlier, Blunsdon were all out for 158, Tom Lloyd taking 3-9 and Luke Seymour 3-24.

Neil Little’s 116 not out and an unbeaten 50 from David Allen secured Purton 2nd’s nine-wicket win over Buscot Park, who had been dismissed for 193, Little taking 4-27.

Burbage & Easton Royal 2nd clinched a five-wicket success over Biddestone 3rd, who were all out for 155, with Christopher Meggs top-scoring with 62.

Charlie Green took 3-26 for Burbage, who reached 157-5 in reply, Nick Patel hitting an unbeaten 64 and James Howells taking 3-29.

Division Six ERLESTOKE’S batsmen made hay in their 240-run success over Potterne 4th, Jasper Dorgan smashing 139 not out, Mike Barton 125 and Toby Dorgan 65 in their mammoth 419-3, Potterne’s reply ending at 179.

Division Seven THREE wickets each for Jamie Richards (3-45) and Dan Hunt (3-29) helped Highworth to dismiss Beehive Southwick 2nd for 153 inside 40 overs, Chris Warren scoring 59 for Beehive.

Mark Wilson’s unbeaten 48 and 45 from Connor Thompson got Highworth home in the 22nd over for the loss of just three wickets.

Westbury 2nd maintained their unbeaten run with a nine-wicket victory over Lacock 2nd, for whim Richard Ingram scored 76 not out in 161-5.

Michael Tuck took 3-8 for Westbury, then scored 43 in the reply as Kane Scott’s unbeaten 70 took them to the target in the 24th over.

Simon Wall’s 105 carried Corsham (229-7) to a three-wicket win over Malmesbury 2nd (226-7) Division Eight RITESH Pal scored an unbeaten 100, Robert Fernandes 76 and Srikanth Raya 53 not out in Trowbridge 3rd’s 286-3 against Wanborough, who collapsed to 39 all out in reply, Bhaisas Masule taking 4-16 and Pravin Sawant 3-12.

Calne 2nd remained second as they amassed 352-2 against their Bathford counterparts.

Henry Lee scored 122 not out and Paul Taylor an unbeaten 112 for the winners, Chris Edes taking 5-1 in 5.2 overs as Bathford were dismissed for 52 in reply.
