WESTBURY suffered a shock 20-run defeat at the hands of bottom Premier Two Glos/Wilts side Gloucester City Winget.

Having bowled their hosts out for 183 with Michael Coles taking 3-23 and Richard Oakley picking up 3-53 from 6.3 overs.

Westbury reply got off to a poor start with Ben Whiting, Coles and Brannon Varley all out with only 38 on the board.

Despite resistance from James Hudson (37) and skipper Alex Senneck (31), Westbury were out for 163.

Meanwhile, in WEPL Wiltshire, both Trowbridge and Warminster saw their games abandoned due to the rain.

Leaders Trowbridge had posted 233-8 at Devizes, who were unable to begin their reply, with Matthew Hopkins hitting 95.

Warminster were 181-7 before rain halted their game with Calne.
