WILTSHIRE team manager Neil Shardlow has welcomed the return of all-rounder
Roger Sillence to the county side.
Sillence has rejoined Corsham to play his club cricket and will also play
for Wiltshire this summer after his five-year first class career ended when
he was released by Worcestershire.
Sillence played for Corsham and Wiltshire before earning his first contract
with a first class county when he joined Gloucestershire in 2002.
He moved to Worcestershire at the end of the 2005 summer.
Shardlow said: "He will make a massive impact on our league campaign this
year.
"I've got a lot of time for Roger, he's probably one of the most talented
players I've ever played with.

"He's a great acquisition for the club because he can bowl and bat and he
lifts players."
Sillence is included in the Wiltshire team for the annual Marlborough Cup
warm-up game against Berkshire at Devizes tomorrow.
Wiltshire have most of last season's players available this year.
All-rounder James Golding is unavailable tomorrow as he is just returning
from his honeymoon and opening batsman Eddie Abel is playing for Oxford
University but will play for Wiltshire when he is available.
Wiltshire give a debut to Glastonbury off spinner Rob Travers tomorrow.
