Festival fun for youngsters

ENTRIES for Wiltshire Football Association's annual mini-soccer festival close on Monday August 7.

This year's festival is being held at Marlborough Road Playing Field, Bulford Camp, on Sunday September 3.

The festival is open to affiliated clubs, with age groups from under sevens to under 10s.

Each player will receive a medal and certificate and the winning team of each group in the under nines and 10s will be presented with a football.

Under sevens and eights will play in a five-a-side non-competitive event and each team will be selected from a maximum squad of eight players.

Under nines and 10s will play a six-a-side competition and each team will be selected from a maximum squad of eight players.

Mixed teams will be accepted but a girls only division will be offered at each age group if there are a sufficient number of entries.

The entry fee is £20 per team and must be enclosed with a completed entry form before Monday August 7.
