THE new Toolstation League Western League season kicks-off on Saturday after a busy pre-season programme.
In an exclusive 16-page guide to the new campaign, Wiltshire Times and Chippenham News sports reporter Gareth Moorhouse assesses the chances of the west and north Wiltshire clubs.
He talks to one manager prepared to resign if his team do not win promotion this season and to another who is planning a long term strategy to bring success to his club.
Then there's the boss who will be happy just to finish in the top half of the table and another who is looking to win a place in the Southern League.
Moorhouse also finds one club determined to be more than one-season wonders and another where youngsters will be thrust into the limelight.
He also looks forward a week to when Chippenham Town begin their British Gas Business Southern League campaign, looking to make it third time lucky in their quest to win a place in Conference South.
There's also news from the Revolutions Trowbridge and District League, the Auto Business Solutions Chippenham Sunday League and the Wiltshire Times and Chippenham News Mid-Wilts Youth and Minor League.
