TROWBRIDGE'S RFU Intermediate Cup final against Staffordshire side Leek at Twickenham will kick off at 3pm on Sunday, May 4.

The Doric Park side booked their dream day out at the home of English rugby next month after a dramatic 19-17 triumph at Guildford in Saturday's semi final.

Club officials will travel to Twickenham on Tuesday to finalise preparations for the club's big day, with details on ticket purchases and coach travel expected to follow.

The final forms part of a day of action at Twickenham, with finals of the RFU Senior and Junior Vase as well as the National U20s finals also taking place.

A trio of West Country teams will feature on the day at Twickenham, with Newent, from just outside Gloucester, featuring in the Senior Vase final at 1pm.

They beat Harrow 27-20 in their semi final and will take on Yorkshire's Yarnbury, who were 21-11 winners over Stewarts & Lloyds.

In the Junior Vase showpiece, which starts the day at 11am, Gloucester side Longlevens, who beat Wiltshire's Marlborough at the quarter final stage, will take on Rugby Lions.

Longlevens won 39-24 at Battersea Ironsides in their semi final, while Rugby defeated Goole 21-17.

In the U20s final, Yorkshire will take on Northumberland after the Trowbridge final at 5pm on May 4.
