NESTON prop Adam Jamieson has joined Greene King IPA Championship side Cornish Pirates.

Tighthead Jamieson, 20, part of the England U20 squad this season, also featured for Bath's United side, who were crowned Premiership A League champions in 2013/14.

Ex-Corsham School student Jamieson, who recently finished his studies at the University of Bath and also played for England Students, also spent time on loan with The Scarlets, with whom he appeared in the LV= Cup last November.

Cornish Pirates director of rugby Ian Davies said: "Adam has been on my radar since earlier in the season when he was marked out to me as someone to look out for.

"Having completed his studies at Bath University he will now come under the scrum tutorage of Alan (Paver) and learn his trade with the Pirates."
