THE Dockers were the runaway winners of Dorset and Wilts South 2 last season, scoring the most points in the country.

That meant Westbury knew they were in for a tough task in the first of a series of lomng away trips this term – and they were proved right to be fearful.

Dockers struck early but Westbury kept their heads up and put Dockers under pressure, forcing a mistake which Matthew Inseal capitalised on to race through and touch down. Jack Brooks converted.

This was to be the only points that Westbury would score.

The game ended with Dockers miles in front.

Although the scoreline was very much against Westbury, credit must go to all the travelling players who put 100 per cent effort for the entire 80 minutes and showed incredible heart not letting their heads drop against one of the best opponents they will face for a long time.
