BRADFORD on Avon’s hunt for a first win in Southern Counties South goes on despite a decent effort on the south coast.

The visiting side started brightly and just missed the opportunity to take the lead when Josh Felix was off target with a penalty.

Dorchester came into it and were gifted the opening try when Bradford lost control of their own shortened lineout on the five-metre line.

The home side added another score before the break but strong words from director of rugby Lewis Moody and head coach Dave George at half time had the visitors fired up.

Following several quick phases Felix broke through on an excellent line and went over under the posts for a try he converted himself.

The second row combination of Si Orchard and Tim Furness then linked well for the latter to cross for a try that Felix again converted.

But Bradford then lost front row Dave Lamplough to a dislocated shoulder and Dorchester wrapped up victory with two late tries.
