MATT Garvey cannot wait for his first taste of life in the European Champions Cup with Bath Rugby.
The big back-rower missed Bath’s opening four matches of the competition through injury and is set to break his duck against a star-studded Toulouse team on Sunday.
That is a must-win game for Mike Ford’s side if they are to have anything to play for in next weekend’s final group game at home to Glasgow.
“It’ll certainly be a good one for the scrap book,” said flanker Garvey.
“They are a fantastic team, especially when they play at home.
“It was heartbreaking to miss that game earlier in the season because these are the games you want you play.
“As a back-row, coming up against the likes of [Thierry] Dusautoir, [Imanol] Harinordoquy and [Louis] Picamoles will be a fantastic challenge.
“We are not worried about Glasgow yet because if we lose this weekend the Glasgow game doesn’t really have that much importance.”
