WARMINSTER made it a hat-trick of wins at the start of the Dorset & Wilts One South season with a thumping success on the south coast.

The amber and blues got off the mark as flanker James Rowbotham’s superb break ended with him slipping the ball to the supporting Josh Smith, who ran under the posts for his first try for the club.

Jason Sprangle converted but was off-target after second row Reid Curtis added a second try.

Swanage hit back with a converted try but Warminster were soon back on the warpath, replacement Ratu bundling himself over the line.

The bonus-point score arrived as centre Jack McIntyre combined with fellow midfield man Dan Lee to send full-back Lewis Noble over in the corner.

Swanage took advantage of some lax defending to score their second before the interval and drew to within five points with another score early in the second half.

But Ratu added his second from close range and Dean Priestman then did likewise, James Pinnell and Smith again scoring late on.
