HEAD coach Dave George admitted relief was the overriding emotion as Bradford celebrated their first Southern Counties South win of the season on Saturday.

The Ashley Lane men finally broke their duck six games in after a series of narrow defeats at the start of the campaign, leading to happy faces in the home dressing room.

"It was a relieved dressing room,'' conceded George. "To be honest, we could have been out of sight at half time but we put a couple of chances down.

"We're pleased because it (the first win) didn't seem to be coming after we'd had a few bonus-point defeats.

Josh Twyford's penalty gave Bradford the lead and Sam Awdry added a try before Frome responded with a score of their own.

Twyford booted another penalty but in the second half, Frome came back into it with a converted score.

However, a super solo effort from Jonny Bates, converted from out side by Twyford, wrapped up the four points for the home side.
