Bath have announced that Alafoti Faosiliva has left the club following his guilty plea for assault.
Faosiliva was given a suspended prison sentence by Bath magistrates earlier this month after knocking Nissi Kyeremeh unconscious with a single punch on a night out in the city centre in February, causing actual bodily harm.
Bath initially suspended the 30-year-old back row for the unprovoked attack and have now ended his time at the Recreation Ground.
"Bath can confirm that Alafoti Faosiliva has been released from his contract with immediate effect following his recent guilty plea for assault and consequent suspended custodial sentence," a club statement read.
