SWINDON’S Maleli Naiova helped Dorset and Wilts U20s to a 12-6 success over the RAF's U23s at Trowbridge’s Doric Park.

The match, which was a warm-up for the county championships, saw the hosts take an early lead when Dorset and Wilts’ pack drove forward to allow number eight Naiova to touchdown. Royal Wootton Bassett’s Connor Tomley added the extras.

However, the twin counties saw their lead reduced to one point as the RAF kicked two penalties before half-time.

After the interval, both teams had chances to add to score, but the two sides' defences held firm until the 75th minute.

With the visitors reduced to 14 men, Dorset and Wilts took full advantage and piled on the pressure before moving the ball wide for Wimborne’s Max Clarke to bag the winning score.
