WALES international lock Luke Charteris will captain Bath when they face Newcastle Falcons in the Anglo-Welsh Cup on Saturday at the Rec.

Shaun Knight and Jeff Williams will make their first appearances of the season, and will take their places in the starting line-up at tighthead prop and left wing respectively.

Knight will line-up in the front row alongside Michael van Vuuren and Nick Auterac. Charteris captains the team from the second row, linking up with Levi Douglas.

James Phillips, Josh Bayliss and Paul Grant make up the back row as Bath look to make it three wins out of three in the competition.

Darren Allinson and Freddie Burns form the half-back pairing, with Ben Tapuai continuing at inside centre alongside James Wilson.

Williams and Matt Banahan start on the wings, whilst Darren Atkins completes the starting line-up at full-back.
