BATH have confirmed the signing of Exeter Chiefs' Will Chudley, who will join the club ahead of the 2018/19 season.

The scrum-half has made more than 115 appearances for the reigning Aviva Premiership champions since his arrival from Newcastle Falcons in 2012, scoring 15 tries.

Chudley said: “I’m really looking forward to joining Bath next season – it’s a new challenge for me, and one that I’m really looking forward to. Having spoken to Todd (Blackadder, Bath director of rugby), I know how ambitious the club is, which is one of the main factors behind my decision.

“I’m fortunate to have won the (Aviva) Premiership with Exeter, and with the world-class talent in Bath’s ranks, I’m confident that we can put ourselves in contention for silverware over the next couple of seasons.”

Blackadder said: “Will is a player who I’m really looking forward to working with.

"He has that winning mentality having played a key role in Exeter’s success over the last few years, and that’s something which will only benefit the club moving forwards.

“He’s a player with real quality and has shown what a valuable player he is during his six years down at Sandy Park.

"I have no doubt that he will become an instant hit with the supporters when he arrives in the summer for the new season.”
