Westbury Youth win by odd goal in five

After an even first half, Westbury Youth ran out 3-2 winners at home against Melksham Park in their Under 11s Division Two game, with goals from Daniel Bodman, Shane Roy and Jacob Derrick.

Larkhall imposed a lot of first half pressure on a strong Biddestone side but failed to turn the pressure into many goals, taking a single goal lead at the break.

After the interval Biddestone came close to equalising but three more goals with no reply gave Larkhall the win at 4-0.

Larkhall's scorers were Joe Lyndsey, Kirtis Dun, Caleb Collins and George Butler

Under 11s Division Three

TROWBRIDGE Town Youth ran out convincing 10-0 winners at home against Warminster Highbury B, with goals from Max Baker (2), Dennis McElhone (2), Kyle Griffin, Jamie Morris, Jonathan Kermode, Jake Paxton, Kieran Plummer and an own goal.

An outstanding performance from the Warminster goalkeeper kept the score down.

Castle Combe Colts ran out 6-2 winners in their home game against Frome Collegians.

Jack Sanderson (3), Kieran Baskerville (2) and Josh Bright scored for Combe, with Sam White and Dean Grant replying for Frome.

Under 11s Division Four

DERRY Hill took the lead within ten minutes at Worton and Cheverell with a long range effort.

But their delight was short lived as Worton equalised on the next attack with a close range strike from Joshua Hatcher.

Derry Hill continued to press and were rewarded with a second goal before half-time.

The second half started with Worton putting pressure on the Derry goal and were rewarded when Hatcher grabbed his second by looping the ball over the goalkeeper to level it at 2-2.

Derry Hill continued to counter attack and were rewarded with another goal.

At 2 - 3 to Derry Hill with five minutes left to play it looked all over, but against the run of play Ben Jenks grabbed a brace to steal the points for Worton with a 4 -3 victory.

Derry Hill will feel robbed as they certainly deserved at least a point from this game if not all three.

Derry Hill's goals came from Joe Williamson (2) and Marcus Frost.

Worton named Harry Mahoney as their man-of-the-match.

Trowbridge Wanderers secured their first league win of the season by beating a spirited Mere FC by 11-1.

The goals came from Ben Cooper (4), Conor Rose (4), Robert Metcalfe, Luke Petty and George Wilson, with a consolation from Jasper Pepler for Mere.

A hat-trick from Luke Thompson secured a 3-1 victory for Melksham Town Youth Reds in their away game against Bradford Town Youth White.

Under 11s Division Five

BROMHAM earned their first victory this year in an end-to-end game against Bishops Cannings.

Bromham's goals were scored by Joe Tinnion, Joshua Bond, Benjamin Trebble and, to the joy of the players, Alex Tyler drifted into the penalty area to slot home his first ever goal after three years of trying.
