Highbury move up to challenge leaders

Warminster Highbury sit level on points with Green Division leaders Melksham Park following their 5-2 home win against FC Chippenham.

Despite the score line Highbury praised the Chippenham goalkeeper George Perry for an outstanding performance.

Ryan North, Henry Hayford-Taylor, Nathan Salmons, Sam McEnty and Chikiah Douglas scored for Highbury, with Danny Eskins and Josh Hodges replying for Chippenham.

George Harding both goals for Melksham Town Youth Blues in their 2-1 away win over Westbury Youth 2nds. Jack Cartwright scored for Westbury.

Under 15s Red Division

DRAWS are not uncommon in the league, but a 6-6 final score is most unusual.

In their top of the table clash, Mere FC and and visitors Trowbridge Town Youth 2nds matched each other in all areas of play to draw level at 3-3 in the first half before finishing the game at 6-6.

Shane Matthews scored five of Mere's goals with Maki Benjamin adding the sixth.
