maintained that lead until half-time.
James Kembrey equalised for Marshfield midway through the second half with a
well taken shot.
Marshfield then needed to defend brilliantly as Castle Combe pressed hard

Walker ran in and struck a first time shot from almost 25 yards into the top
corner of the goal, giving Marshfield a well deserved 2-1 win.

Under 13s Blue Division
AMESBURY Town Blues continued their march towards the league title with a
comfortable victory over a spirited Calne side.
With a number of players unavailable, manager Neil Hollinworth was able to
utilise his strong squad of players to bring into the starting line up a few
players who had not featured regularly recently.
Harry Beckley had the ball in the back of the visitors' net after seven
minutes but an offside decision ruled this effort out. Within a minute he
scored a legitimate goal, running onto a through ball to cleverly lob the
Calne goalkeeper.
Connor Cutler then had an amazing half volley from 40 yards which flew just
the wrong side of the post before Beckley rounded off a good move on the
left side to double the lead.
After 18 minutes the Blues scored a third goal, courtesy of Chris Kelly
after a good run and cross from Josh Wightman. Cutler scored a fourth goal
after 25 minutes, curling in a free kick from just outside of the box, and
the same player scored the fifth goal just four minutes later.
Just before the break Beckley completed his hat-trick, taking advantage of a
fumble by the Calne goalkeeper to side foot the ball into an empty net.
The second period was mostly played in the visitors' half and Beckley scored
his fourth goal in the 44th minute, chasing the ball through the middle and,
as the goalkeeper hesitated, the prolific striker took the easiest of
chances.
Skipper and centre back Tyler Brockway, now playing as a forward, scored the
eighth goal following a good passing move and Joey Barnwell rounded things
off with a 25 yard effort from wide on the right which sailed over the
keeper's head into the back of the net.
To their credit the Calne side's heads never went down and they battled to
the end.
This was a confidence-building win for the Blues in readiness for the visit
to Bonnymead next week of Devizes Town.
FC Chippenham ran out 6-0 winners at home to Bradford Town Youth White, with
goals from Mich Soard, Steven Hayes, Will Daulby and a hat-trick from Harry
Griffin.
