Westbury Youth Lions were 3-0 winners away at Chippenham Town
Youth White in the Under Nines Division One. Both sides played well in difficult windy conditions.
Westbury took a first half lead when Alex Harrison's shot took a deflection
to beat the goalkeeper. Then Reece Mitten's pass put Ben Starr through with
just the goalkeeper to beat to make it 2-0 after the break.
Starr got his second with a well struck left foot shot from outside the
penalty area.

Frankie Vaz scored late in the first half to put FC Chippenham ahead
against Trowbridge Wanderers. Wanderers equalised late into injury time
from an own goal.
Five minutes into the second half Callum Gunner regained the lead for
Chippenham. After a solo run down the right wing he drilled the ball into
the bottom corner, taking his tally to five goals in four games.
Jordan Young made it 3-1 to the home side midway through the second half
with a free kick from just outside the penalty area which he curled into the
top corner, taking his tally to four goals in two games.
Trowbridge Town Youth and Warminster Highbury ground out a 1-1 draw, with
Dominic Allen scoring for Trowbridge.
Under Nines Division Two
AN EXCELLENT game started with Melksham Park's George Hiscock grazing the
wrong side of Larkhall Athletic's goal post.
Larkhall then put pressure on Park but to no avail and Park again applied
several attacks, with Jamie Philips and Nathan Trueman unlucky not to score
from some excellent corners by Tommy Ireland.
The second half was similar to the first, with Sam Robinson hitting the side
netting and Thomas Mack doing great work on the wing but all to no avail due
to the great defending of Larkhall, giving them a well deserved point.
Devizes Town Youth took the lead in their home game against Melksham Town
Youth Saints but a defiant Saints battled on and were back level at the
break.
Devizes dug deep in the second half, scoring two more goals to finish 3-1
winners.
Jamie Walters (2) and Noah Cannon scored for Devizes.
Under Nines Division Three
JACK Stacey scored the only goal of the game for Bradford Town Youth A
against Trowbridge Town Youth B.
Adam Bouchama gave Trowbridge Town Youth D the lead at Castle Combe Colts,
who brought the scores level before the break through Joe Bamber.
Neither side scored in the second half, ending the game at 1-1.
Under Nines Division Four
MELKSHAM Park suffered their fourth defeat in a row but gave a much better
team performance against Bradford who played well.
Park changed their formation, moving Liam Reed to midfield and dropping
Harry Church into defence and it worked well.
Bradford started well and after ten minutes scored despite great work from
Harry Church and Jay Athay in defence and some outstanding saves from Steven
Brenchley.
Just before half-time Bradford scored again from a rebound off another
double save from Brenchley.
The second half mirrored the first, with some good saves from the Bradford
keeper. Park saw good work from Liam Reed and Jordan Early in midfield
leading to a cracking shot from Charlie Dodge but the ball just would not
go in.
To compound Park's bad fortune, a rare break from Bradford resulted in their
third goal and a final score of 0-3.
Park awarded man-of-the-match honour to Harry Church.
Mere Town Youth and visitors Trowbridge Town Youth played out a fair and
sporting game, with Mere taking a 2-0 lead before the interval.
The second half was more even with both sides scoring to leave the final
score at 3-1 to Mere.
Jack Tucker (2) and William Thorpe scored for Mere.
White Horse Juniors ran out 3-2 winners away to Trowbridge Wanderers B
maintaining their unbeaten record. Holbrook (2) and Child scored for White
Horse, with Daniel Slatterley and Connor Wase replying for Wanderers.
Under Nines Division Six
AN ENTERTAINING game between Larkhall Athletic and Melksham Town Youth
Magpies produced some excellent passing moves.
A well worked goal by Shaun Bailey gave the Magpies a half-time lead and
soon into the second half a well placed shot by Euan McCaughan, after good
work by Alex Wilkes, put Magpies 2-0 up.
Rathin Scott scored for Larkhall making for a tense run in to the final
whistle but the Magpies held out for the three points.
Chippenham Town Youth were in fine form as they looked to continue their
unbeaten run and they took firm control of the game against Trowbridge Town
Youth E, showing a mature and controlled performance.
Ben Berkley opened the scoring after a fine run, but Trowbridge equalised
from a free kick as Callum Norris sent a laser guided shot into the roof of
the net.
Chippenham played some fine football, with many elegant passing moves, and
deservedly regained the lead with a goal from Ben Berkley and went on finish
the game 2-1 winners.
Jacob Humphrey scored four goals for Westbury Youth Tigers as they ran out
9-0 winners against Bradford Town C. Despite not scoring it was Sam Cocks
who really shone for Westbury.
Ellie Osborne (2) and Alex Brimble (3) also scored for Westbury.
