FC Chippenham hit back in style

After going down 2-1 in the first half against Westbury Youth, FC Chippenham bounced back to win their Under 14s Blue Division game 6-2.

Thomas Blackman and Billy Precup scored for Westbury.

DESPITE enduring a torrid season the Chippenham Town Youth players showed great resolve and determination and played very well against Pewsey Vale, but with very windy conditions both teams struggled to find a rhythm in their play.

Goals from Cameron Amore (2), Ross Campbell and goalkeeper Louis Chamberlain, who took full advantage of a gust of wind to sail the ball from his area into the net much to the delight of his team-mates, ensured what looks like a comfortable win for Pewsey but in reality was a much closer game.

Corsham FC continue to dominate the division following their 2-0 away win against Devizes Town Youth.

James Cryer scored both goals for Corsham.

Trowbridge Wanderers had much of the first half play in their away game against local rivals Trowbridge Town Youth and took a 3-1 lead at the break.

After the break the game was more even with both sides scoring to end the game at 4-2 to Wanderers.

Scott Ingram and Jack Parker scored for Town.

Under 14s Red Division

AMESBURY Juniors remain unbeaten after 13 games following their 4-0 home win against Melksham Park. Ashley Gooch, Mark Farmer and Jack Walton (2) scored for Amesbury.

Chippenham Town Rangers celebrated their second win of the season with a 7-3 home win over Bradford Town Youth Blue.

Curtis Small (4), Nicki Kidd, with his first goal in seven years, Oz Ray, with his first team goal, and an own goal were on target for Rangers.

Bromham took full advantage of the wind in the first half and took a 3-0 lead at the break at Trowbridge Wanderers. But a second half hat-trick for Nathan Osbaldeston and a single for Matthew Ling secured the three points for Wanderers with a 4-3 final score.
